Disseminating information as a resource.
Our work as an association of relatives and friends of people with mental health issues generates valuable knowledge and insights that are important in many social contexts. Our Academy passes this knowledge on to people who are interested and disseminates information and knowledge on several levels: We hold seminars and workshops, including a Recovery Seminar that deals with the accessibility of services in and limitations of the current care system.
Through our Academy we aim to reach people who are not necessarily involved in in the psychiatric system in order to make them more aware of what we are working towards. Working with the public is an important cornerstone of the ApK and part of our mission.
